Apparently Jackson Pollack used a turkey baster on his early Fifties work, so a fountain pen is minimalist Pollack.

@bobdoesthings I like it, was just throwing it out there like Mr. P. If it sticks, it is probably something brown and tacky.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on. Been fighting off a fever since Monday night, lots of pain all over, non-stop headache, stiff neck... They determined it was likely viral, but there's really no tests for determining what virus, specifically. I got bitten my something on Sat, and they tested for Lyme. Results won't come back for 5 days. They started me on antibiotics for it anyway, just to be on the safe side - if it comes back positive, I'll have to keep taking this shit for at least another month. :-P Fun stuff.

I hear that our audio signal is a little glitchy, so if anyone is experiencing weirdness on the live signal, we're workin' on it.

Go for it, Joe. I got your back.

@Claw: Ha! Fortunately, I'm running short on time and Meatloaf's songs are all long. Lucky ducks!

I wonder why all the covers of this song use the cowardly carpenters title "Superstar," rather than the original title, "Groupie."

Next time, Joe. Hit em with some "Rock n Roll Dreams Come Through." Anyone whines, I'm breakin' legs.

@Dean-went to the Young post, have to say, he and his folks know good sound. Despite all the naysayers, the little Pono is an awesome sounding music playing candy bar.
Avatar 11:51am

Anyone else singiing it is "groupie". The Carpenters are always going to be "Superstar". Theirs is the one that has the stalker/delusional quality to it.

Joe, do you ever play Lesley Duncan?

Thanks Joe.

Dean:

@doctorjazz: I have always appreciated his stand against digital and bad sound, but I've never actually sampled his work on a decent system. I am *very* skeptical about the ability of the much-touted Meyer Sound systems to deliver the goods. Seems way too complex to me. I should know, too, 'cuz I once had a beer with one of the Meyer engineers.
