@Ike: Nope, I did not fall into that sinkhole but I hear a new Halal market will be opening soon in it. Also, I purely get my produce from the Park Slope Food Co-op. So hey, thanks for the tip!

Ah, but does the PS Food Co-op have mangosteens? If they do, I bet they're $10/lb. But never mind me, I'm obsessed with mangosteens. Cheap durian at this place on Ft. Hamilton Pkwy. too, but that's more of an acquired taste, due to the stench.
