Everyone: WFMU is in the middle of Crunch Time, a month-long fundraiser that keeps us solvent until our Marathon in the Spring. This year, Crunch Time is featuring 2 unique and RAD T-shirts that you can choose between! Either a beautiful bird playing a record with its beak Flintstones-style, or a chipmunk playing hot lixx on a guitar. HOW COULD YOU LOSE WITH THAT S#1T. To pledge to my show, please use the banner at the top of this page. I appreciate ya!

Hi Amanda! Good to hear you live! I missed hearing the John Sebastian show live, but have enjoyed it twice (yes, twice) in the meantime. A rare treat! Oh, sorry to hear you had a "harrowing " commute today. I've had one or two of those myself recently... those will mash down on your soul if you let 'em.

I'm loving having you all here! P-90, thanks for the nice words re: John. Trying to not play any of his songs today and give him a rest, but I may fail. Dudes, those shirts are AMAZING and I honestly can't decide which one I want

Amanda:

Dave Edmunds is like one of those shut-ins who are only attracted to anime characters, except for fictional women in songs.

Interesting observation there Amanda
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm
Dave Edmunds:

Yes, and?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm

P-90:

I SHUDDER to think how much they might have wanted for "Bobby Darin Does Dr. Doolittle." (Especially if disk and sleeve were in real good condition.) But Dang, David Seville and Co. did a very, very nice job. Really impressive. I must have heard it in the way back then, but thanks for the reacquaintance. Dave [or Ross] was a really talented guy.

@Jeff yep - megacolon is a major issue in domesticated pet rats - not so much in lab rats

I remember when Dan Buccino answered the "Drummer Wanted" ad that Dave Arnson posted when he was starting the Insect Surfers. It was a few months before we graduated high school. I went off to college and Dan went off to play in a rock band and I was so jealous.
