  7:45pm Linda Lee:

Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 7:55pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Linda Lee - Me, too. Sounds like a great film.
  8:12pm Linda Lee:

so many great places to be tonight, really.. just going by Rob's playlist. right now i'm loving this piece by orchestra super mazembe. this is some of my favorite music in the world. lovely. .. Rob's show makes it a joy to stay home!
  8:15pm Linda Lee:

i remember seeing 'the original' purple rain for the first theater run. the music was definitely key to that one! story was really secondary.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm coelacanth:

i definitely have that OSM song on a comp, but i cant think of it. maybe one of the zimbabwe frontline albums?
(i starred it anyway,in case i'm wrong. ..i need more of that!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm coelacanth:

is this my main, Thomas Mapfumo? (speaking of zimbabwe)
  8:25pm Linda Lee:

those are healing guitars!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28pm coelacanth:

okay, now i'm not getting anything else done!
  8:30pm JakeGould:

@LindaLee: The original “Purple Rain” was an experience. First saw it on video, but wish I saw it in the a real theater.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 8:32pm Bas NL:

Ohhww great.. i dozed off before the show start and only just woke up again. Hello Rob! Hello all!
  8:33pm Linda Lee:

@coelacanth - hard to leave the music, isn't it. & so rewarding just to be with it.
@JakeGould - the big screen experience was dynamite for the performances. especially the finale. really a concert film posing as a narrative ..
  8:39pm Linda Lee:

@Bas NL - be sure to check the archive. fantastic show.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 8:41pm Bas NL:

Will do for sure @Linda Lee! I saw Bassekou Kouyate & Ngoni Ba on stage recently.. what a nice show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41pm coelacanth:

Linda,i don't even have to leave it (as i usually do when i'm working) but that zimbabwean stuff (& other stuff!) takes my attention so much that i can't concentrate on other things!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm coelacanth:

hi Bas!

...hey Linda is there really snow up there?
  8:46pm Linda Lee:

@Bas NL - lucky you! i've experienced very little African music live. shame on me.
@coelacanth - i'm with you 100% on the music! it insists that you focus on it! fantastic. & yes, it snowed here last night .. stayed on the ground all day. beautiful, white, pristine. .. should melt away this week though.
  8:50pm jon f:

excellent show as always!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:51pm Rob W:

Thanks jon f and everyone, have a great week!
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 8:52pm Bas NL:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm coelacanth:

aw,i'm sorry i missed it Linda. i live up that way. (probably not as north as you but i listen on 90.1...) but i've been ct. all week. it's actually been gorgeous here- but not wintery.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 8:54pm Bas NL:
