I only discovered William Basinski last year, when "Cascade" came out. Really like his stuff. Find it very soothing but also very stimulating and interesting, when I really pay attention to it. According to the ever-reliable Wikipedia, this is his first album, correct?

DJ_Guy:

Yeah it is one of his early albums, which is crazy because it displays such a fully formed sound and presentation and he was mad young when it came out. I hadn't heard it before and I found it in the library tonight, great record

Mark R:

I wasn't capable of appreciating that sort of thing when I was younger, but now I can't seem to get enough of it! (I also didn't used to like Greek olives.)
