Avatar 12:04pm Whooda:

Glad to be within earshot this afternoon DJ Joe Belock.
Avatar 12:06pm geezerette:

Hey Joe B. & the off your Rockers!
  12:07pm Cliff (moving to Prague!):

Alright, let's hear some rekkids
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm Michael 98145:

here's a quarter for the jukebox
  12:07pm Polyus:

Hey, dumb question, but who is the guy in the intro talking about what he looks for in a good record?
Avatar 12:08pm Joe B:

the guy asking the question is Don K Reed. unknown goon answering the question
  12:08pm Cliff (moving to Prague!):

It's spelled and pronounced "rekkid". (But I don't know who that guy is)
Avatar 12:09pm Todd-o-phonic:

The People's Champ should dedicate "Working Class Man" to himself!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:10pm Greg from ZONE 5:

Afternoon, Joe #2!
  12:10pm Cliff (moving to Prague!):

Dem goons, always playin' doze rekkids.

#Giudahorde #Giudajerseycity
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 12:14pm Parq:

Polyus, I don't know this for a fact, but as far as I have been able to figure out, he is an actor (and a bad one) playing a record company executive, in "Rock Music Reports", a phony documentary intended as a hatchet job on rock music, presumably put out by one of those Christian fundie "parent" groups. Folks more in the know than I are welcome to correct me.
Avatar 12:14pm SmokinJ:

WoW! Is this for real? Salutations Joe & all... 8-)
Avatar 🎸 12:16pm acid casualty:

KYLIE MINOGUE DOES A FUNKY VERSION OF "HELP" BY THE BEATLES!

Avatar 12:16pm Carmichael:

Heya Joe and rekkid luvahs.
  12:22pm Cliff (moving to Prague!):

Joe, I like that line on your profile: "Champagne for my real friends and real pain for my sham friends!"
  12:23pm devon:

TTMF = Ta, Ta, MOFO
Charming!
Avatar 12:25pm Cheri Pi:

CTMF=Copyright TerMination Front (maybe)
Avatar 12:28pm KP:

So i didn't have to move my car because today is "Frank O'Toole is Actually on the Airwaves Day"?
Avatar 12:29pm Joe B:

thanks CP, yes I have seen that one - not buying it!
Avatar 12:29pm Joe B:

that is it KP!
Avatar 12:29pm KP:

Enjoy the Above's 12-string commitment.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30pm Dominick:

Avatar 🎸 12:32pm acid casualty:

Holly - go-lightly did a nice version of this song. On this very station, maybe even this very show?
Avatar 12:33pm Joe B:

  12:36pm Dennis Diken:

"Everything" by Chris Bolger, good choice!

  12:51pm Flower5000:

This set is knocking my socks off! Well played Sir Belock!
Avatar 12:55pm Todd-o-phonic:

Nice version of "Think It Over" and great version of "Everyday" that The Feelies did in Maplewood.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm probablyjohn:

  1:36pm Hoboken Jack:

This epic show enhanced by more Karl Hendricks!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 1:39pm Jeff from Rahway:

Nate, Joe should play songs from the new Gotobeds LP to celebrate the Pens. Beats Dawnie Iris an'at.
  1:40pm John Baumgartner:

probablyjohn, you can get the Yung Wu CD here: http://www.twintone.com/
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 1:40pm Nate K.:

Jeff, agreed.
Avatar 1:51pm geezerette:

Linus Pauling Quartet;fascinating that this psychedelic sound is back and sort of in the background constantly.
Wonder why now and what does it mean? It's curious, but really like it.
Avatar 1:56pm V Priceless:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01pm common:

Avatar 2:36pm Jeff:

Was that Mannix theme a Lalo Schifrin composition?
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 2:37pm KevinfromBayRidge:

@ Nate K That's how you get to tell people younger than yourself-" I've forgotten more stuff than you've ever known"
Avatar 2:39pm Joe B:

Avatar 2:40pm Joe B:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43pm Sem Chumbo:

Thx, Joe. Class act all the way around.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 2:47pm Parq:

Avatar 2:52pm Dr. Goot:

Another great show, thanks Joe!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 2:55pm Nate K.:

Waggoner was my favorite previously uknown (to me) discovery of the Stomp. I'm also glad I waited, didn't pay $200 for an OG or $30 for a boot, and got the Norton reissue of "Baby, Baby, Baby."
Avatar 2:56pm Joe B:

good move Nate!

thanks everyone! appreciate it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00pm ! I X Key !:

Geez I can't believe the brainwashing mind-control cult church of Scientology brainwashed me to disseminate the tech
