	♥ 3:52am coelacanth: i had several awesome conversations with one woman. hours long. we decided to meet on her stomping ground and met in front of a comedy club on the west side somewhere. she had been a part of the troupe. ...as soon as we saw each-other i could tell that we both were disappointed! she wasn't ugly...and anyway what the fuck is ugly? she just was very much not how she described herself. i was quite honest but she had lied. so, i don't know if she was disappointed by me or if she just responded to my subconscious reaction to her. i was willing to try so we went in. she laughed hysterically at the worst fucking juvenile , not funny crap i'd ever witnessed.

I frankly marveled at the back page, where people who'd seen other people briefly somewhere in NYC would describe the encounter in hopes of making a future connection. I think I came to see the world generally in that way, long odds against getting what we want, we hopeful all the same.

People write about staring at people at starbucks...like "This is for that beautiful man with the green eyes that picked up my change when I dropped it on the floor. I wanted to have a baby with you but you left." ---- stuff like that.
