	11:05am Dean: A sound board engineer with hearing loss reminds me of a long-gone local cafe that hired a sight-impaired diabetic as a chef.
	11:06am βrian: And for some reason, these sound people always seem to have huge sagittal crests and pronounced occipital ridges.

A security lady got on the walkie talkie then escorted us front row in front of Petes amp My ears are still ringing

It is the anniversary today of The Beatles playing Shea Stadium in 1965 in effect the first time a stadium was used for a music gig.

	11:25am KP: Sound levels are different though since PAs started being so effective. everything goes through them. The intense physical presence of the stacks is not there.
	11:25am Brendan: Its funny that we put plugs in our ears to listen to music, like putting bumps on the roads we drive.or the people who live in front of those speed bumps wearing earplugs because of the angry motorists honking. Its a vicious cycle
