@northguineahills - Cymande was formed in England, but all of the members I believe were immigrants. The inside gatefold of the S/T lists all of the band members and their home country.

@Jack re: Cymande 'Dove' track: clarification - check out 'Elemental Chill' Vol. 2: Earth - there's a cut called 'Skyscraper' by Kinobe. I think they lifted the entire groove of 'Dove' - whoa! That being said, all 4 CDs in the Elemental Chill set (Fire, Earth, Air and Water) are really brilliant. On Kriztal Entertainment label.

The last time I hit the Liquid Sky record store was its last location on St Marks. I picked up a bunch of Jungle Sky and the usual Liquid Sky records there as well as a lot of old 60s country records that were there for some reason. The kid working there was tripping that someone would be there to buy country records and liquid/jungle sky recs.
