'The dwarf planet Pluto has five moons down to a detection limit of about 1 km in diameter. In order of distance from Pluto, they are Charon, Styx, Nix, Kerberos, and Hydra. Charon, the largest of the five moons, is mutually tidally locked with Pluto, and is massive enough that Pluto–Charon is sometimes considered a double dwarf planet.'

@Fred, the other Birthday Boy! Glad you enjoyed the show. I think you have inspired me to get off my rump to get to some shows. Caught the Microscopic Septet last week (great show, Love those guys. Have a new album based on The Blues that I also really like). Last night, at the local Paper Mill Theater saw The Million Dollar Quartet, which was actually a lot of fun. And Friday plan to catch Dave Douglas in Philly. Maybe squeeze something else in there (but we're having a big family gathering on Tuesday for the Jewish holiday, which will keep me busy with preparations and stuff)

As far as seeing the Micros, I don't think it's really possible these days, they don't do regular tours or gigs. They used to play regularly in the 80s and 90s, and I saw them many times then. One of the leaders/composers of the band Philip Johnston, moved to Australia, and the band broke up and didn't record or perform for many years. In the last few years, Johnston had been visiting the NY area once or twice a year, and they put on reunion concerts and record sometimes. Their first 3 albums are just fabulous (available as a CD box set "Seven Men in Neckties ", which is great stuff)

Thanks for the Micros, Jeff! (was I annoying enough?)
I was really a groupie of this band for a while-saw many of their performances in lower Manhattan, including one at Under Acme on a Sunday when a blizzard started. I was there with a friend, and 4 other folks (family, I expect), who left for the second set. I have a tendency to bop to the music at shows, and at one point the whole band was copying me from the bandstand. I've talked to them between sets since then, and they still remember me from that show...
