Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from June 27, 2017 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

I apologize in advance to Feral Ohms for prejudging them. Unless they ARE reeking of Captain Morgan's and despair and trying to pick up people. Then all bets are off!

It's my personal hope that Feral Ohms returns home to set up outside of the Burger Boogaloo this weekend and jamms for 48 hours straight - Hawkwind Isle of Wight style, whilst also spraying Cap'n Morgan from a firehose at the scattering crowd - ruining a good time for everyone.

I have some dark fearful corners of my psyche too. That's why I drink Captain Morgan's. Well..you know...that and the despair. I draw the line at picking people up on buses though. The smell of the bogs on the National Express is not conducive to romance.

This is great. Definitely a bootleg. At least bootleg quality. But Brian knows what he's doing, and hopefully Mick and Keef's lawyers aren't going to shut down WFMU. Stones fans realize that this tape is no better than Ladies & Gentlemen..." video but will argue til they're dead that this is different than that recorded at the same era tape/video that it doesn't matter so stfu. And what do I know, I'm just a know it all music geek and I like it, especially Mick who sounds like he's having an orgasm in reverse. And yes, this is during Keef's heroin phase so he doesn't remember this show. Or some of his best LPs, right? Thank you Brian Turner!!!!
