Ohh that Wild Heart track is everything - dreamy dressing room
  11:22pm
Lukeman:

I need some help. I tuned into 91.1 (located in NJ) and heard an amazing song. Just a very reverb-y echo-y piano and a man's vocals. Any idea what that song was? The playlist doesn't seem to have it by my efforts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:25pm
Drunken Creep:

Just a guess it was Drunk Elk Morning Light
Avatar 11:27pm
Wm.:

we have this?!? I thought all the vintage RuPaul records walked long ago...
  11:29pm
Lukeman:

That was not it, drunken creep. It was pretty much a raw sounding piano, only affect was a lot of reverb like ambient. Thank you for responding however.
  Swag For Life Member 11:30pm
12539:

Lukeman, I'm guessing the Ian William Craig. It's on Bandcamp.
Avatar 11:31pm
Samantha:

@Wm=No we don't have it-such a bummer
Avatar 11:32pm
Samantha:

Lukeman-sorry I was running around! I think it was the Drunk Elk too:)
  11:34pm
Lukeman:

Sorry that wasn't it either. Perhaps I got the wrong channel? I was listening in my car around 10:50pm on 91.1 fm located in central NJ.
  11:35pm
DJ Large Margin:

sounding smooth from stoodio B dude.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38pm
coelacanth:

Lukeman, 12539 is correct. Ian William Craig.
  11:40pm
JakeGould:

Oh man, what a band that Ausmuteants are/is: ausmuteants.bandcamp.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41pm
coelacanth:

(unless you were listening to another station...but it fits your description exactly and it was played at the time you said.)
Avatar 11:42pm
Ike:

Nothing else besides square classical music is broadcast on any 91.1 FM transmission audible from central NJ. So you're in the right place.
  Swag For Life Member 11:44pm
12539:

You can always listen to this show when it's archived. And why wouldn't you want to?
Avatar 11:45pm
Ike:

Yep, I was about to say, a few hours after this program ends at 12 midnight, a free archive will be available on-demand on this site, so you'll be able to listen to it again! (Also, if you haven't been here before, welcome!)
Avatar 11:51pm
Samantha:

Thanks Large Margin! Hey everyone
  11:53pm
Lukeman:

I just listened to the nearness again by Ian but it definitely wasn't it. But the vocals were similar. I'm talking zero distortion +any other sounds. Just a man singing bon iver-like over a reverb-y piano. I'll check that archive later.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:57pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks so much, Samantha. Very good live and recorded smorgasbord for us tonight!
  Swag For Life Member 11:57pm
12539:

Thanks, Samantha (and Johan, and Scott).
  7:34am
Lukeman:

Hmm it was Ian william Craig's the nearness. My mistake. Using phone to listen with volume turned down to not wake anyone up made it hard. Thank you!
  1:19pm
?:

The version you played of "the nearness" by Ian is different from the one I find online. Thats why i thought I was going insane! Any info on that raw-piano version?
  1:23pm
?:

Turns out I was listening to some remix album! D'Oh! Problem solved! Well worth the search ;)
