wow- I went to preschool & took college classes at Hamilton College & my best friend in elementary school had a house on lake moraine. I know that one intersection like the back of my hand! I wonder what it would be like to enjoy that area, I just associate it with adolescent malaise & growing pains

Re Hamilton, NY : I grew up grew up in the country ( NC) lived in NYC 30 years and now I'm back in the country (upstate NY) people are not nicer in the country...it's complicated

Agree - the world is very complicated - but, without doubt, people who work in shops in Hamilton NY are, on average, much more friendly and polite and laid back then similar workers in Northern New Jersey

I worked at grocery stores in NC and NYC there was twice as much work to get done in NYC.....just that much more volume...People that work in metro areas generally have a lot more work to do so they don't have time to be as friendly . But anyway Michael.. I consider you very friendly. Friendly enough to put in the work and bring us these great shows

SteveI -- I believe Rock's Backpages has some interviews in its archive. I love what Cherie wrote about Kim when he was entering terminal care and, when he died, Susan Cowsill's memory from age 16 of him asking her to front the Runaways -- "be my jailbait Mick Jagger". Both on Facebook.
