Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm BronwynB:

Avatar 12:30pm V Priceless:

heya Frank! Welcome back to the 'waves!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm Hughie Considine:

I think the version of "And Your Bird Can Sing" where John and Paul devolve into stoned hysterics is the highlight of the Anthology series.
  12:32pm bill:

I'm super partial to "I'm Down" myself
Avatar 12:33pm northguineahills:

@BronwynB: Yeah, I got the series for xmas of my junior of college. Just listened to it again in December (listening to my cds in abc in my car).
Avatar 12:34pm northguineahills:

(up to the Boredoms right now).
Avatar 12:35pm kimzilla:

Wow, this Close Encounters song made me stop typing and turn it up. Really interesting. Thanks Frank!
  12:35pm brycepunk1:

This is an amazing mix! Will this be available on the archive?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm Mike East:

very appropriately wearing my Beatles shirt today. nice mix, Frank!
Avatar 12:37pm Jeff Moore:

Hey, Frank! Great to hear you!
Avatar 12:37pm mb:

I've got The Who giving 5pts to Close Encounters of The Lennon Kind. Any takers?
Avatar 12:39pm northguineahills:

@Mike:My last Beatle's shirt (Revolver), has been regulated to pjs as it's becoming nearly threadbare.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Mike East:

@ngh - my wife just bought me a brand new one for Chinese NY cuz its red...and I'm a dog. I also like it cuz the front just says "HELP!"
Avatar 12:43pm northguineahills:

@Mike: jaJA!
Avatar 12:44pm northguineahills:

regulated=relegated.

can't brain after 3 day weekend.
Avatar 1:02pm northguineahills:

I got to peruse Tim "Love" Lee's record collection one night as a friend of mine was house sitting for him (about 12 years ago).
Avatar 1:08pm V Priceless:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm Uncle Michael:

What a great cover by Dusty.
  1:22pm Santos L Halper:

How have I not heard this Dusty version?! Very cool
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:22pm Aaron Working In Newark:

I have only heard the Byrds do this and its awesome.... This is equally as great!!
Avatar 1:26pm northguineahills:

One of my favorite Mazzy Star tracks, haven't heard this remix.
  1:28pm melinda:

I like the remix
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm ɨkɛ:

Great remix. Am I hallucinating or does it sound a little Throwing Muses-y?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm Michael 98145:

nice
Avatar 1:37pm northguineahills:

Off to lunch, thanks Frank, good to hear ya as per usual!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:47pm Parq:

Makes me smile hearing this Sugarloaf remix again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:47pm Rob (Jerzcity):

Why did I think that moody blues/kimmy remix track was Gomez the whole time? Was it?
Avatar 1:49pm Jack:

Jeez Frank you sound great! So good to hear you. The flashbacks are starting up again!...
Avatar 2:03pm B/wad:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Parq:

Often, hearing sixties music makes me feel old. Spanky's stuff has just the opposite effect.
Avatar 2:18pm Wild Neil:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE learning about obscure 60's psychedelic bands. Just getting into comparatively well known 13th Floor Elevators, but I want to know about MORE bands like this. Suggestions anybody? Part?
Avatar 2:18pm Wild Neil:

Parq? i meant!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm Parq:

My suggestion would be to find on-line info for any of the Nuggets and Pebbles series with track-by-track listings, pick a band name that intrigues you, and take it from there.
Avatar 2:32pm Kamp Climax:

great show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm maestroso:

Nice Glass piece!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm Parq:

Interesting, this Four Tet loops just the same way that the Glass composition does (as do most of his compositions).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm Michael 98145:

heh. never heard this before, either ..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52pm doctorjazz:

Remember seeing the Gil Evans orchestra at Sweet Basil doing this and other Hendrix-they had a Monday night regular gig, was great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm maestroso:

Great show Frank!
  3:01pm Agent Peter:

Hang in there Frankie
Avatar 3:06pm Wild Neil:

Pebbles series? NEVER heard of it!
Avatar 3:15pm kirk from beer city usa:
