Good morning all. RIP Cecil Taylor. Just saw him a couple of years ago. He was still a force of nature.

First time I saw Cecil Taylor was at the Village Gate in 1974. He played solo on a bill with Andrew Hill and Sir Roland Hanna. He played for about an hour, uninterrupted, and proceeded to blow my 19-20 year old mind!
