One of the few cinemas that screened the Stones 1972 tour doc was that crummy Ocean Township theater that closed in the past year. I noticed it credited Chuck Berry for "Bye Bye Johnny" but not Robert Johnson for "Love in Vain".

many if not most rock n roll songs can be country songs...or punk songs.
there was a local band where i live that played their set, "rock" or rock & roll, as they were known for. took a break came back did the whole first set of songs again, country style...and really good country style. ("alt-country" i guess it'd be called)
