Skidmore College is up in Saratoga, a very popular university for southern planters to send their kids for the summer. If you find yourself over that way, look at the buildings near the college. They speak to an age in Saratoga Springs. The Lincoln Bath House is cool too, in the Saratoga State Park.

Star Trek: TNG, DS9, Farscape, The Expanse... all shows with really wobbly first seasons (downright terrible in the case of TNG) but they all became great. In the era of streaming, it's worth mentioning because *everybody* starts from the beginning and watches in order instead of catching a random one in syndicated reruns. But if you do that w/TNG then you see the worst episodes first and you get a terrible impression of the show.

Mariano. It was a weird show because it was just prior to his ‘cool reassessment’. The (large) audience was predominantly elderly ladies, with a few rockabilly / Americana aficionados scattered in clumps here and there. He was terrific though. He even did some Beach Boys number (“Hell, I was Beach Boy, why shouldn’t I?”)

That's so cool David. And the bagpipe thing is the cherry on top.

Nico seems to know a total of 3 notes in her vocal. Vary it up a little? An otherwise nice arrangement.
