	5:00pm notsoKWYET: So maybe... 5 years ago... I was listening to WFMU and somehow I heard that there was going to be a DJ from Toronto. So I decided to check it out because I really imagined that the FMU fans were few and far between in Toronto. That Dj ended up being DJ Nico ... I added her on Facebook and found out she throws a night called WIth It! at a bar called the Piston. it's the longest lasting soul night in toronto, celebrating 7 or 8 years. So At this time I was part of a vinyl group online --- mostly for people within 3 hours of Toronto ... And there is some really misogynistic and racist shit being posted. So Babs, one of the few posters whose music I actually loved, gets in the thick of it... I see she is fighting an uphill battle because... men.... so I get involved too... it turns real ugly to the point where I make a massive post and just leave the group... it was like lighting a bomb and walking away... Apparently the group turned into a dumpster fire. Anyway, babs also left and we connected. Fast forward and I have still yet to go to Dj Nico's night and finally Babs says "please come... my friends are your friends".. and I went and she introduced me to all the great music lovers around her. I have grown into that group for many years now and I am forever grateful for Babs pushing me to go... She is so lovely and a really great friend

	5:00pm notsoKWYET: So maybe... 5 years ago... I was listening to WFMU and somehow I heard that there was going to be a DJ from Toronto. So I decided to check it out because I really imagined that the FMU fans were few and far between in Toronto. That Dj ended up being DJ Nico ... I added her on Facebook and found out she throws a night called WIth It! at a bar called the Piston. it's the longest lasting soul night in toronto, celebrating 7 or 8 years. So At this time I was part of a vinyl group online --- mostly for people within 3 hours of Toronto ... And there is some really misogynistic and racist shit being posted. So Babs, one of the few posters whose music I actually loved, gets in the thick of it... I see she is fighting an uphill battle because... men.... so I get involved too... it turns real ugly to the point where I make a massive post and just leave the group... it was like lighting a bomb and walking away... Apparently the group turned into a dumpster fire. Anyway, babs also left and we connected. Fast forward and I have still yet to go to Dj Nico's night and finally Babs says "please come... my friends are your friends".. and I went and she introduced me to all the great music lovers around her. I have grown into that group for many years now and I am forever grateful for Babs pushing me to go... She is so lovely and a really great friend
