My playlist today includes new Complete, Constant Mongrel, Bugs & Rats, Hot Dolphin, Ata Kak, Brotzmann/Edwards/Noble, a Bloodrock song, Pink Flamingos in Spanish, and Wire's Document & Eyewitness reish sounding better than ever. I also played Ryan Martin's new tape because he promised to introduce me to Joe Jonas.
Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

"The cattle have been genetically engineered with human DNA so that their bodies don't produce cattle antibodies but human antibodies. They're cloned to make a herd of genetically identical, part-human animals." This little adventure is surely going to cause some tee-hee-hee's from Larry DeMellier and tantalize us all

SCR is volunteer run and working on 30K goal in next 10 days to allow for an especially-backed-up December's worth of ER care dogs to get up to speed with vet care.
Since the beginning of December, we have taken in a staggering amount of medical and abuse cases, more than we have ever taken on at one time. Our vets are full and the pleas just keep coming. Yet Rock Me Tonight ruined Billy Squier's career.

I saw exactly two good year end lists on the whole Pitchfork staff review of 2014. Does the office bathroom only play FKA Twigs, Taylor Swift, Run the Jewels, St. Vincent, Ariana Grande, The War on Drugs and Dean Blunt? Huge staff with little diversity in chart personality. I wish more modern music-geared media could look past what's being shoved/PR'd/smeared around and actually learn about releases put out by people who don't give a crap about/have money to hire promotions agencies and "work" them. It's not that hard.
