Third Man Records TEST PRESSINGS almost NEVER leave the TMR building. They are the Holy Grail of TMR items. A search on Collectors Frenzy will yield only 11 TMR Test Pressings in the past 3 years! And most were NOT as desirable as THE WHITE STRIPES & JACK WHITE, which is what we have.
The Test Pressings alone are valued AT a minimum of at LEAST $1000 each (but the scarcity of TMR test pressings and the extreme desirability of the Jack White/White Stripes items predict collector’s values of $1500- $2000+).
And The School Choir records were never sold in stores. In order for someone to have one, it means the child who appears on that record gave his or her copy up! IN ADDITION these are on COLORED vinyl, which were only in press runs of 50! So these lots are the rarest of the rare. (The few 'School Choir’s' that show up on eBay fetch about $400!)
We are availing these amazing records to generous WFMU listener-supporters in the form of a Grand Prize Drawing (rather than another eBay auction) for those who pledge $1000 or more to my Sat March 16th, radio show today on WFMU.
Since I did NOT get ANY $1000 pledges the 1st week of our 2 -week Fundraiser, the probability of someone winning one of the two, super RARE Grand Prizes after pledging $1000 to my show is extremely high:
If I manage to get three $1000 donations, then each donor has a 66% chance of winning one of these prizes valued between $1400-$2500+ (which all but covers your donation to WFMU and then some!)
If I get two different $1000 donations, then each donor will *automatically* get one of these prizes valued between $1400-$2500+!
(If I get only one $1K pledge, the pledger only gets ONE of the 2 prizes - but they can choose which prize.)
