Listener comments!

  9:44am Jack:

No comments this morning? Hey, Bob, thanks for the Moby Grape.
  9:50am Jack:

Been listening to a lot of James Brown lately. The first couple three albums are great, but to my ear it's more "funky R&B" and not really "soul" music. What a voice! So smooth, love when he sings the blues.

  10:05am kat330:

The Hunger?
  10:06am kat330:

Bowie film, vampires.
  10:07am kat330:

Well, that aria IS in The Hunger. Memorable scene.
  10:07am Mark:

I've Heard the Mermaids Singing!!!!
  10:08am Mark:

Canadian Film 80s....
  10:09am kat330:

And, unfortunately, also on a British Airways commercial.
Avatar 10:11am Bob Brainen:

Right, aria used in several movies, apparently, but that wasn't the movie I just watched...
Avatar 10:15am Philo Gristle:

It is all over the place, one of those ubiquitous pieces that can elevate just about any film.... or commercial. Gorgeous.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:21am Uncle Michael:

It's almost as unavoidable as the Taco Bell Canon was a couple of decades ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24am Uncle Michael:

I'm so glad that Darlene Edwards isn't singing Shenandoah.
  10:26am kat330:

Or Boccherini's minuet, played in nearly every "posh, upper crust" gathering of people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27am Uncle Michael:

I'm so glad Bob provides safe haven for DanFans.
  10:30am mrmucho:

still sounds great!
  10:31am dennis diken:

explosive Earl Palmer drumming on that McCallum track! kudos to arranger H.B. Barnum and producer David Axelrod. nice show Bob!!
  10:33am mrmucho:

B&F always downplayed CBAT, but it holds its own with any of the others. If they did nothing else it'd still be a classic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35am Uncle Michael:

Wilco's Port Chester closer, audience sing rendition of "Ripple" to end their three night, 90 song retrospective....that's pretty cool by me.
Avatar 10:41am kat330:

Had to log in so I could do some star clicking. I concur, a fine, nicely varied program this All Hallow's Day, Bob.
  10:42am goldenflux:

I'm with ya Bob- I know I should love Wilco Adams- I just don't feel it.
