Well - it's not saying Technique doesn't matter. It can matter a great deal. It is saying it's a means to an end.
I reckon it follows to ask :
1.) Does it - in fact - arrive ? What is the Statement ?
2.) Is it Relevant ? Does the Statement matter ? This doesn't mean it's gotta be heavy. Something that makes you laugh or feel good can be 'Relevant'. Ferinstance.

i really don't want to add anything, as our host would like no troll discussion at all... but no, that wasn't quite how it started.
it started with he/she/it saying "is it finally over?" and how they got through it without having to pledge because others pledged enough.

Always thot of Trolls as like the Angry Drunk @ a bar. Whatever they say it's 'about' - it's not really about. It's the attention & maybe the provocation. I am in fact a little prone to taking the bait & engaging to counter them. In fact - this is kind of a syndrome between the Let & Right politically too often. We loudly despair the Facts aren't acknowledged - when the Facts were never their priority.

Should every show on WFMU have a title? What title would you give them if they had to have one? I'd say Blumin should go with A Slowed Down Echo of Two Dumpsters Crashing into Each Other, and similarly, Bryce should use Marbles in a Blender. Both inspired by semi-troll-like comments that were then "reclaimed".
