The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

  6:08pm
kat330:

So what are the folks actually in the UCB hearing?
  6:08pm
7SD:

Lots of echo
  6:09pm
Dave in So Dak:

wtf? idiots...
  6:09pm
kat330:

I guess he answered that question.
  6:09pm
Matt from Springfield:

At first I was thinking how starting with a put-on was more of a Night People thing. But--these mics and that audience noise are making this show even more annoying to listen to! So that's a 7SD Success!
  6:09pm
mike noble at beacon:

not a feat, we're really at the beacon! daxophone fever!
  6:09pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Actually, they might not be bashing This American Life, there just might be no one at the UCB, and this is their way of poking fun at themselves.
  6:10pm
kat330:

This really seems to be going too well. Very smooth. Not 7SD-like at all.
  6:10pm
mike noble at beacon:

I'm so excited for the tortoise segment
  6:10pm
mike noble at beacon:

I'm so excited for the tortoise segment
  6:11pm
Matt from Springfield:

Thanks mike noble for your technical work! (That is if you're not being crushed by the audience)
  6:11pm
Dan B From Upstate:

That third row sounds incredibly rowdy.
  6:12pm
PA Announcement:

Attention, no beer sales after the seventh oneliner.
  6:12pm
mike noble at beacon:

technical thanks actually go to Chris T
  6:13pm
kat330:

Mike, are you picking up these cues? I applaud you [cue huge crowd sounds] if so!!
  6:13pm
mike noble at beacon:

dave amels fall on stage = actually real
  6:13pm
kat330:

Ohh, loud applause for Chris T then! :)
  6:13pm
seang:

this is awesome
  6:14pm
Juan Rapido:

Hmm, just can't think what the fatal flaw is with this one....
  6:14pm
Dan B From Upstate:

That crowd is very coordinated! They erupt with applause and end at exactly the same time! Amazing!
  6:14pm
G:

Have faith, Juan. 45 minutes to go.
  6:14pm
kat330:

Yes, HUGE applause for colonics!
  6:15pm
Matt from Springfield:

If you like pina colonics...
  6:15pm
G:

@kat: What would we expect from an audience stacked with assholes?
  6:15pm
kat330:

Can't hear of colonics without thinking of Steve Martin in LA Story.
  6:16pm
kat330:

@G, yeah Ram Dass 'em!
  6:18pm
dorr:

This crowd is as cheer happy as the Newbridge mayubernatorial debate crowd was clap happy
  6:18pm
kat330:

I think Andy should audience dive.
  6:18pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

This is pure comedy gold
  6:20pm
kat330:

Heh! As if...
  6:21pm
Dan B From Upstate:

How many people exactly are there? One Million? Two Million? TEN MILLION?
  6:21pm
mike noble at beacon:

can youns hear the interview? the crowd is deafening here at the beacon
  6:21pm
kat330:

Wide stance or narrow stance?
  6:22pm
G:

@mike: just pot down the crowd effect :-P
  6:22pm
seang:

isn't fun to be alive?
  6:22pm
kat330:

@Mike: Actually, hearing the show with the background noise makes me listen more closely than otherwise. Genius!
  6:24pm
Matt from Springfield:

Yeah! Goooooooo fidgeting! Pacing! Nervous tics! Outta sight!
  6:25pm
Matt from Springfield:

You know come to think, if it weren't for sex Americans would be even more out of shape...
  6:26pm
kat330:

African Greys -- the best!
  6:26pm
Matt from Springfield:

Quiet down, audience! You'll disturb the animals!
  6:26pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Crowd goes freaking nuts for African Gray Parrots!
  6:27pm
mike noble at beacon:

note this parrot is NOT Bryce
  6:27pm
7SD:

I gotta get my hands on one of those Sex Americans.
  6:27pm
kat330:

When I was living in North Hollywood, there was a flock of parrots who visited our neighbors orange tree regularly. Loud and raucous.
  6:29pm
kat330:

@7SD: Good for you -- dish back to Matt what he loves to dish out grammatically! :)
  6:29pm
drewo:

Brooklyn parrots are/were near Brooklyn College along Bedford Ave. last time I looked.
  6:30pm
conrad:

kat: those might be the famous former Bush Gardens flock. Bush Gardens used to be near the Bud plant off the 405 and had animal shows that I fondly recall from my boyhood.
  6:30pm
Matt from Springfield:

Andy's about to wrap himself into a ball very soon in fact.
  6:30pm
kat330:

Fallon has on this animal guy, and it's so clear the animals DO NOT LIKE him at all.
  6:32pm
kat330:

@Conrad: I heard it started from someone(s) who had pets that got loose, but you're probably right. It was my first -- we're not in Indiana anymore! -- moment out in LA.
  6:32pm
Matt from Springfield:

@kat: These comments are my art pieces, every one of them! When you see something off, I, uh, meant to do that. Every time! Meant to do that... :)
  6:33pm
7SD:

I kid...
  6:33pm
kat330:

@Matt: Art pieces? How "pretentious" of you. Let the art come to you. :)
Avatar 6:34pm
tim:

Apparently, the canned laughter shipment is still in transit.
  6:34pm
kat330:

We ALL kid -- at least I hope so!
  6:36pm
kat330:

Cute! Did Evan tell him that one?
  6:36pm
7SD:

If not this is the wrong venue...
  6:36pm
Matt from Springfield:

Not everyone kids, but everyone does GOAT.
  6:36pm
7SD:

No he dint!
  6:38pm

Truth in Advertising: "Hyper-enhanced Live from the UCB Theater"
  6:39pm
giraffe-o:

The most dangerous turtle is Gamera
  6:39pm
dale:

sounds like they have added some audio from super bowl. or match game 74.
  6:39pm
kat330:

ANG.
  6:40pm
kat330:

Gamera, hai!
  6:41pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Andy: Don't give others permission for your kids' stories--you'll need them for when you run for political office! The audience lapped up that sappy story.
  6:41pm
kat330:

Wonder if they'll draw this big of a crowd for TMBG?
  6:41pm
Caryn:

So, Mike No-Balls, you happy with that tortoise segment?
  6:43pm
mike noble at beacon:

MUST PET LUCY
  6:43pm
kat330:

Is this a Sea World act? Andy's happy place!
  6:44pm
mike noble at beacon:

hey I've got balls every day of the week but Friday
  6:44pm
kat330:

@Mike: after that, kiss the African Grey for me. :)
  6:45pm
G:

What happened to the first goldfish? Andy's entire third family piled into the car like so many sardines for a trip to Canada, with the goldfish strapped to a sushi tray on the roof. Whle speeding along at 85, the goldfishes torso was flapped against the strap hundreds and hundreds of times, till the poor thing finally snapped in two. The parts landed in drifts of roadside litter.
  6:46pm
kat330:

@Matt: So is Andy going to run for Christie's office after he's been selected as Mitt's Veep candidate?
  6:47pm
kat330:

I think they should give the third goldfish a break with the name and just call it by its initials: ANG
  6:47pm
Matt from Springfield:

Those theremin crowds can get INSANE--I hope there's security ready to evacuate Michael in case there's a riot.
  6:47pm
G:

If mike tweaks the sound on this segment, does that mean the performer is actually playing the theremin of the board?
  6:48pm
7SD:

Therein lies the Theremin.
  6:49pm
kat330:

There's definitely a sufficiently big enough crowd for Andy to surf. Leap, Andy, leap!
  6:49pm
Matt from Springfield:

@kat: Who knows what Andy might run for, though he did mention that he should save these kid anecdotes for a political campaign.
  6:49pm
7SD:

Pull an Iggy, Andy!
  6:51pm
kat330:

How are they going to top this at the UCB? Now they're locked into doing it every time. I'm sure the effect is affecting the guests, making them feel good despite what they see.
  6:52pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

Send this one to the Smithsonian.
  6:54pm
kat330:

Dax entertainment.
  6:55pm
PMD:

I can't hear over the crowd.
  6:55pm
kat330:

That's no honey badger.
  6:56pm
Matt from Springfield:

The daxophone doesn't give a shit!
Amazing how that instrument isn't more popular.
  6:57pm
kat330:

Yep, retire this one next to Archie's chair. Thanks for all the goldfish! Sweet dreams, good folks!
  6:58pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Lamin should take the night off. He can't compete with this.
  6:58pm
Matt from Springfield:

Well, that was interesting--an actual NEW concept for 7SD! ;)
Thanks Ken & Andy!
Thanks mike noble and Chris T!
  6:59pm
Matt from Springfield:

See ya kat! Have a good night everyone!
  9:45am
Kendall!:

So was this actually the backup plan in case literally nobody showed up to the UCB theater?
  2:53am
lz:

What a great show!
