If I want a cake, do I take a number and wait at the Geiger counter?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36pm Doug Schulkind:

That's not a cake, it's an incendiary device! Greetings UM and glenn!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:37pm Uncle Michael:

Light the fuse and get away.
Avatar 5:38pm glenn:

tell your supreme court that the world ain't gonna end if the homos can tie the knot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:38pm Uncle Michael:

How's it going, Doug...family home yet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm Uncle Michael:

Marriage should remain a sacred bond between one host and one chest-busting parasite.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm Doug Schulkind:

Yes, Uncle Michael. Safe and sound. Thanks for asking.
Avatar 5:41pm Ellen Ripley:

You may have a point, U.M.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42pm Doug Schulkind:

@glenn
I think the Supreme Court is almost irrelevant at this point. It would be nice if it issued a sweeping ruling that making Constitutional any gender marriages, but that ain't gonna happen. In the same way that California's passing of Prop 8 actually did more for marriage equality than if it had failed, a negative Supreme Court ruling will only catapult the cause further ahead.

In my unhumble opinion.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm Doug Schulkind:

Helooo and welcome, Ellen Ripley!
Avatar 5:46pm Ellen Ripley:

We listen to g.t.d.s on The Nostromo 24 / 7 / 365. In space, everybody can hear you stream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:47pm Uncle Michael:

Could you do something about Paul Reiser's hairpiece?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm Doug Schulkind:

Nostromo? Damn us!
Avatar 5:50pm Ellen Ripley:

Paul Reiser? Isn't he dead?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51pm Uncle Michael:

Just his follicles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51pm Uncle Michael:

Which is fine...he just needs to let his pate flag fly.
Avatar 5:51pm ndbob:

evening Doug and everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm Doug Schulkind:

@Uncle Michael
I believe that Paul Reiser's hairpiece should have the right to marry any wig, plug or combover it so chooses.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm Uncle Michael:

Hi Bob!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm Doug Schulkind:

Hi ndbob!

I just got done listening to the oral argument from the Prop 8 case.... very interesting
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:04pm Doug Schulkind:

As Duke Ellington said, "music is my mistress."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm Uncle Michael:

Could you hear Clarence Thomas snoring?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm Parq:

The Geiger cake reminds me of the asteroid worm from Star Wars. Even more to the point, with two of them, it reminds me of the spoof of that scene found in Robot Chicken Star Wars.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm Doug Schulkind:

Charlie Parker is next! (No, not THAT Charlie Parker.)

Hey there Holland and Parq(er)!
Avatar 6:07pm ndbob:

lol Michael.... I certainly could hear Scalia being an ass
Avatar 6:07pm Ellen Ripley:

So how are things with Amy Winehouse? I'm a little behind on the current events.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:08pm Uncle Michael:

She's doing about the same.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm Doug Schulkind:

Hey Uncle Michael, we frown on using obscenity (Clarence Thomas) here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm Parq:

Actually, she's also a little behind on current events. As distinct from Justice Scalia, who's a big behind on current events.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm Uncle Michael:

I'm not up on my GTDCC regulations.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12pm Doug Schulkind:

@Parq
You are quite correct. Scalia is a big behind.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14pm joe:

My love abides, but Texas Tyler sounded like he was on the way out. Just transliterating the lyrics into twittersquawk for the kiddies...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24pm Doug Schulkind:

We should all be so lucky as to have a pseudonym comprising the names of two Texas towns.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:27pm Stanley:

Aw this Pyramids is fab, Reminds me of what was played by our Caribbean neighbours in South London in the sixties when I was a kid. Happy memories.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:27pm Doug Schulkind:

@glenn
You really should marry that literate so and so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:28pm joe:

I've come to point were I refuse to even have a "discussion" about gay marriage with people. I just don't even see why in this day and age a court is needed to make the decision. You are against someone being gay fine what ever but that still doesn't give the place to tell others what they can do
Avatar 6:30pm glenn:

well, except for the fact she's still technically married to somebody else.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm Stanley:

@ joe - the article in The Onion this week follows your thinking on this.... www.theonion.com...

Avatar 6:32pm glenn:

speaking of books, are there any j.p. donleavy fans here? www.dailymail.co.uk...
Avatar 6:32pm northguineahills:

Even my bros., who are hardcore republicans, are for gay marriage. However, they're also younger then me, and have gay friends. Now my uncles and aunts, that's a different story.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33pm Doug Schulkind:

If you all thought you were gonna get through this hour without hearing Francis Bebey's "Pygmy Divorce," you are sorely mistaken.

@Joe
Anyone who disagrees with you should have to take out the trash and must drink milk directly from the carton.
Avatar 6:34pm ndbob:

I didn't think that for a second Doug:)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:36pm Doug Schulkind:
