I once edited a guide to beer by Michael Jackson. (Not that Michael Jackson, the other one.) In 1986, I visited Belgium with a friend and he boasted to everyone in every bar that I was some kind of beer expert and EVERYONE made me drink their favorite beer to see what I'd have to say.
