Annie, I'd love some eggs - steamed, basted, over easy, soft-boiled, poached - you pick. As you can see I'm firmly in the "cooked white runny yolk" camp, and love all the different ways one can arrive at that outcome :-) Not that I'd turn down a glorious french omelette, either.

Hi Annie. My wife has had a bunch of sewing projects lately, too. She is going to be selling aprons, potholders, and other sewn items at an event this weekend. I wish she could learn to enjoy long hours of music while sewing. Instead, she likes to watch the worst that TV has to offer.

totally off-subject, but: every now and then i search youtube to see if one of my favorite narratives has been posted there. well, my patience has paid off; "Death of a Wombat" is now out of copyright!!! if you've never heard this amazing story i so totally suggest it. no images necessary, just the story.. i first heard it on Weekend Radio, he played it once a year due to its length. SO worth the time.. but please wait until you have the half-hour to devote to it..

The extra confinement of winter bedclothes layers, including a zip-up component I git swaddled in, because the apartment's kept cooold, keeps my toes bent sometimes to the point of numbness and soreness. And probably doesn't help the more general ever-increasing susceptibility -- circulation-related? -- of the ol' toes to cold, which is bad news for the otherwise happy winter trips to the woods and mountains.
