@annie we have two kittens who are certified terriorists. They did their training at Camp Cat, a secret destination. Where havoc is trained at an early age. Plates knocked off surfaces, cupboards raided, bodies trampled on in bed in the early hours. Last week being both males my wife took them to have their nuts off. My sympathy levels were low I have to admit.

My cat, whom I have always thought of as peaceful and extremely mellow, has recently made a relocation-based transition from an out-side-all-day cat to an apartment cat. Every day that I do not spend a solid 45 minutes playing intensely with him is a day my feet will be bitten hard.
Avatar 🥁 10:14am βrian:

I love that serious, competent expression. As if the cat is doing her best to put things right for you — you who can't seem to do anything for yourself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15am Alex In Illinois:

@annie: When you recall anything more about the movie, let me know, I'd be interested to see it.

I also just learned that there is a Cartagena in Spain too, but I was referring to the one in Colombia which is known for a source of a lot of music recordings.
It turns out that multiple rivers flow into the ocean around Cartagena, Colombia. It's like a peninsula with a bay too. It is quite a location.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:21am Goyim in the AM:

annie, I don't mind the intense playing much, because my little buddy is both acrobat and comedian when he plays -- it's a highlight of my day!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24am Alex In Illinois:

My sister's cat brought a live bat into the house to play with once. This cat catches squirrels and gives them to the dog, while hunting and eating snakes for herself. She is some sort of Russian breed of cat that does not produce dander, but turns out to also be bred for pest control.

ndbob- asheville is quite a dynamic city, overall, though it's being touted as an up-and-coming place to be. if for no other reason she should come here, it would be for the blue ridge and the smokies. as far as i know, the college has a great curriculum and the campus is gorgeous. it IS a current tourist attraction, and "beer city".. she will be spoiled somewhat coming here first, as asheville is quite unique. i'm pretty happy here and the population is diverse, although my more-militant of friends say ther's not enough. the food is fabulous, anything a diner would want. almost all types of food and food trucks everywhere. apartment life is interesting.. all earth-lovers, straight-necked, new-age, international...if she wants a connection to housing it's simple..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35am Doug Schulkind:

2. I'll have a milk & Pepsi, please.
3. Our cat is a straight-up asshole. Random clawings just for walking too close to her. Random poo drops in hallways and pee on dropped towels. Scritching sessions that turn quickly violent. Whenever we bring our daughter to the pediatrician, he asks about the scratch marks and eyes us suspiciously.

Hi Dean,
No bad news as of yet, just that it's coming soon...

This episode of GTDS may end soon, Doug, but everyone's good vibes and wishes here for you and your family won't, not by a damn sight.

I will take that comment, Listener James, and put in my pocket like one of those smooth stones people keep close to caress in stressful times.
