He needs the job, so is unlikely to quit.

His stamina is well-known.

X-Ray Burns can hold his own on his own, though I'd suggest cutting some of his time out & returning that amount to Bill Kelly.

Loved Ken's show as well (and all the rest of the show's), but he's not a candidate. Would have put Dan, Pat, Joe Belock, and Michele on my list of candidates as well...

IIRC, Mssrs. Warwick & Jones approached the 6-9 AM slot in fairly similar style, while Mr. Pigeon tried to tailor it somewhat specifically. Very hard to tell which approach would be most enjoyable (or tolerable -- sometimes it's a matter of tuning in for the good stuff & staying tuned in for the...uh...less-good stuff in a given program) in the long run.
