I had this record on a cassette (God forgive me), which I played quite often at work. Then it began to stretch over time, and the music went slowly out of tune. It took me some time to realize that it wasn't just a weird Indian scale.

I don't have much firsthand experience with Turkish psych, but it reminds me of Tropicalia in that you're getting all the current flavors, i.e. garage/psych funnelled through a different lens. I like what I hear.
