0.) Maybe we can get someone in WFMU gear into the hearings audiences (if not the committees or the stands).
1.) Since I strongly doubt they'll out any crime that would surprise me or air any defence of That Man that won't turn my stomach, if I were listening I'd keep FMU on to avert boredom and to palliate disgust.

@Ken whatever filter they used to make these one note songs don’t really differentiate or compensate? When the chorus kicks in. So there’s 2 notes to each sing basically.
?:
There was a SubGenius Media Barrage® tape that mixed "Johnny One-Note" with Denholm Eliott as Pilate in "Jesus Christ Superstar" to achieve:
'
Johnny could only sing one note
And the note he sang was this:
"DIE, IF YOU WANT TO, you innocent puppet!"

Diezel Tea,
I'm from a region between Buenas Peras and Pelotillehue. Algerian alphabet is unofficialy popular in this area.
I see you, and raise you with Ignatissimus O'Reilly, able to brood, fulminate against the modern world, eat frozen pizza, sponge off his Mum, and onanate whilst reminiscing on how happy his late dog used to be more than any other human or fictional being!
Queems you rule re: all the FMU swag. If you got it, flaunt it I say!

Anyone has the lyrics to what the talking Egg is saying?

@whywolf
Your on to something
My late dogs original name was Hail Insiatatus. When he was a pup he trotted like a horse and we compared him to Caligulas white horse. His name was too long and he ended up as Ignatatus. PS he was a red nose Pitbull. Not even in the horse gene pool. Go figure.

It seems like a Sesame Street 50th Anniversary RabbitHole???
Must run but will catch the archive at some point before next week...
Thanks Ken...
ps whatever happened to the WFMU number station fêtish
of yore??
Thanks Ken for posting my WFMU skateboard on Instagram for all the hip youngsters to see. My husband and I put it all together. I buy an old board, put stickers on and he does the labor. We don't use it of course. Don't want to break a hip.

The Muzak was terrible back then
The area we had moved to when I was young the station had control over the area and pretty much still do just with a top 40 brainwash playlist instead of The Muzak. I think they finally stopped playing Delilah at night
I would not really know because I only listen to WFMU since they got on the Rockland fm tower
This is what happens when people take too much notes. They think there's an unlimited supply of notes. They think notes grow on trees. But no, no. What is left now is just a bunch of songs with only one note. A sad, sad day for music.

@Bnowb I am listening on the iPhone app but I feel your pain
@scott Williams get those hamsters working
@iggy Delilah sucks all those sappy love songs
We hit a bad note at the transmitter site. I had to clear out the notecatcher and reset it. Should be good from here on in. Thanks for sticking with me everybody
Denholm Eliott brought something personal to his Pontius Pilate, if Wikipedia had it right when I consulted it: his dather, Myles, was essentially chief prosecutor for the British in Mandate Palestine and was killed the night he obtained a 'guilty' verdict against rioters.

Lixiviiated Life,
Ken says is just hazmat gear but what I think is...please take a sit in the couch, what I think is happening is that Ken's masks put our sexuality, memory, and interpretation into questioning. He's taking us in a journey from conscious to unconscious and guides the listeners with himself through this journey. He shows them as symbols which may not represent real symbols, and simple characters which may not be that simple and plain; characters which have a wound in their Superegos and a dark side in their Ids and Egos..
O.K.,now I want to hear Mel Blanc as Elmer Fudd sing the lead on "Venus in Furs".
(Note: 'I am tired, and I am weary/I could sleep for a thousand years', which is like a Psalm in style, is the soundtrack to some of my depressive episodes, and is suicidal ideation very poorly disguised.)
KEN!!! You did not even give me time to turn the volume down! Thank goodness I have an ear spreay with dexamethasone, neomycin and acetic acid with me. I am going to apply it to remove the Mariah Carey debris You did not count on that! HA!

Someone forgot to tell Whywolf not to take the brown acid

Her listeners are worse then her. If I had a full carry I would have replaced many car stereos listening to that

Delilah can you okay something for my Girlfriend that I caught in bed with the fire department last week, we just got engaged and she is a great person for supporting the local VFD
Delilah: oh sure I will just sit in front of the fireplace with some warm tigers milk
The original "vocal re-pitched differently from the backing track" - miraculous at the time - is John Oswald's Pretender.
Honorable Mention: Any Resemblance by Charles Dodge.

What was the old concert flyer in London during its punk days in the 70s? Something like..."The Damned know three chords. The Adverts know one chord. COME HEAR 4 CHORDS THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!"
If I had a radio station I'd play this song 24/7! HA!! Just imagine how much money would be saved to run the station. Fundrising marathons will be easy peasy.

@-Ken I want to thank you for the distraction from watching the crap on tv today
Is anyone else getting the rising feeling of fear, dread and loathing as we creep into 2020? I'm trying to tamp down my cynicism but it's hard to get my hopes up for the next 4 years.
