spod, when I lost my commute, I lost about four miles of baked-in walking. And like an idiot I never made up for it. I am just going to be better about letting work survive without me.

I walk back and forth twice over the Pulaski Bridge, which was always the best part of my commute. I can take the dog *and* I can read a book while I walk since there's no cross-traffic and they separated the cyclists to a different lane (which MOST riders manage to understand). So I'm also reading more again, which is good because I had really stagnated without the reading on that commute.

I completely missed the Sopranos (no HBO at the time, but I did enjoy The Jersey Boys movie. Fun fact: They just wrapped filming location scenes for the Sopranos prequel movie in Bloomfield. The world famous Holsten's is in Bloomfield.
