I have a pet peeve with kids these days who upload data to whatever database iTunes uses when naming files when ripping. If a track is on a live album and the album title says it's live, they don't need to mention it again in the track title.

There's significant pushback in the rock and metal scene. The signing frenzy in the late 90's where major labels would form a ridiculous amount of subsidiaries they disguised as "indie labels", over-saturated the industry and almost killed the genre. Now a lot more people are recording from home (which is good and bad), but at least you own your own publishing if you self-release. Never a better time to have cash-in-pocket.
