Your show so often feels like suddenly coming out of the storm to a place of actual refuge, where you can still see the waves crashing but you know you're safe to take a breath before going back out there. 	9:20am B R M: What a painter Amy Sherald is... man oh man, what I would give to be able to create visual art like that or even own a painting! I dream of owning just ONE original painting I love. Not because I want to take it away from public viewing, but because I would love to be able to look at an image I love every day... there is an interesting movie called MY REMBRANDT about people who own Rembrandt paintings (mostly Dutch aristocrats) and while I don't have any aspirations to be super rich or whatever, their relationships to the paintings they own are fascinating to me... they look at them every day and have studied them, have theories and narratives about every inch of the painting, etc. I wish I could have that relationship with a painting. TMI? Probably. sorry for the tangent.

I also like The Darjeeling Limited" and "Moonrise Kingdom". Wonderfully quirky. Wasn't so sure of "Isle of Dogs" - but I believe it was a star! and went down well at a UK screening with dogs invited! :-) "The French Dispatch" is upcoming in 2021, will definitely try to see that!

Not because I want to take it away from public viewing, but because I would love to be able to look at an image I love every day... there is an interesting movie called MY REMBRANDT about people who own Rembrandt paintings (mostly Dutch aristocrats) and while I don't have any aspirations to be super rich or whatever, their relationships to the paintings they own are fascinating to me... they look at them every day and have studied them, have theories and narratives about every inch of the painting, etc. I wish I could have that relationship with a painting. TMI? Probably. sorry for the tangent.
