I think I'm going to have to try to cut them up this weekend and another neighbor has given me another type that grows straight up and is doesn't have the thorns like the prickly pear does. They look similar, but they're a lot hardier.

	2:04am Candy-O'67: I have a beginning for a replacement TomTom. My clusters in my front yard and backyard were gigantic in span, width and this is just a few to start over with. so, I guess I'll be searching for some more stuff later in the season or soon

	2:05am Candy-O'67: Yeah, string, these have been here for years and the combination of the big storm that we got, being a ton of snow and then an ice storm on top of it was what did them all in. And having blow zero temperatures for a few days. They just can't handle that kind of weather and that kind of weather hasn't happened in over a hundred years here
	2:06am Candy-O'67: Well, they got to do something about Texas's pipes and power if this kind of crap is to be expected more in the future or the near future

	2:20am coelacanth∅: i haven't looked at the board in an hour so please forgive me if i'm being redundant but (Candy @214) i've had lots of different plants that shouldn't have survived the winter make it by surrounding them (their pots) with fresh mulch (a foot thick in some cases) and, in some cases decomposing leaves around the tops. a lot of heat produced throughout the winter.

I think I'm going to have to try to cut them up this weekend and another neighbor has given me another type that grows straight up and is doesn't have the thorns like the prickly pear does. They look similar, but they're a lot hardier.

	2:04am Candy-O'67: I have a beginning for a replacement TomTom. My clusters in my front yard and backyard were gigantic in span, width and this is just a few to start over with. so, I guess I'll be searching for some more stuff later in the season or soon

And having blow zero temperatures for a few days. They just can't handle that kind of weather and that kind of weather hasn't happened in over a hundred years here

	2:20am coelacanth∅: i haven't looked at the board in an hour so please forgive me if i'm being redundant but (Candy @214) i've had lots of different plants that shouldn't have survived the winter make it by surrounding them (their pots) with fresh mulch (a foot thick in some cases) and, in some cases decomposing leaves around the tops. a lot of heat produced throughout the winter.
