Well, my pleasure Sem. I met him and played with him in the early 90s. At a time when house / dance music was so strongly in the ascendant, you literally couldn't give away an old folkie like him (hence why a very average instrumentalist like me got to play with him). Consequently, he was at a pretty low ebb, but he was still absolutely amazing to watch and listen to. I was really glad that things turned around eventually and that he got plenty of time back in the sun once at the latter stage of his life.

Yes, common, familiar and traditional in New England, the B&M canned brown bread. Not so bad, with the signature molasses flavor, though I don't think I'd choose it today. Only had it once as an adult after childhood encounters.
The B&M factory is a couple miles from where I live.

Franco i've tried, and tried... i cannot seem to make beans good from dried. they're always mealy.
2-3 hours on medium heat, mealy. 4 hours on a wood stove, mealy. i don't know how many hours simmering soup - mealy.
i gave up.
