WKCR is good. I listen to the weekend block programs a lot: soul, blues, folk. Unique to KCR is they have a lot of old jazz, some old live jazz club tapes.

Yeah Sir Schaap struggling with his health I believe.
I have a pretty large appetite for Jazz - it's good overnight for a default ambience for instance ...there's TSF Jazz Paris (also good for Francophonephiles) - the weird Russian Radio Caprice thing with several Genre streams (Cool Jazzz for one) - Jazz24 ...& good old WWOZ...
Something called Radiolla Mantra has Indian Classical & various International things that are vibey.
FMU of course is the Timeslot King - & just getting Timeslottier all the time with the dif streams.

We bailed on Boardwalk Empire after a season or so. I hear what Alan is saying, but we didn't think it was holding together very well. Recently rewatched The Sopranos. I think we liked it more the second time around, honestly. Got to pay more attention to the craft. Though "troubled male antihero" got played out fast as the peak TV go-to after the show, it's done so well in the originator.

We watched the 1932 "Scarface" (starring Paul Muni) the other night. Lots of violence, but you don't actually see much blood/dead bodies... just a lot of guns being fired. "Do it. Do it yourself. Keep doing it". Great movie.
