	12:48pm Tony Coulter: Space Negros are great ... and very varied ... they go from humorous "novelty" tracks to post-punk to experimental.

	12:58pm Rich in Washington: There's so much cool Post Punk/Industrial/Experimental stuff from Mexico, Central America, etc., that we almost never hear.
	1:00pm Tony Coulter: Reyes is part of a really interesting Mexican scene that (to grossly simplify) likes to mix pre-Columbian instruments/ritual atmospheres with electronics.
	1:01pm fred: @David (in London): when it comes to late bears, I tend to prefer Volcano, but to each its own
	1:04pm Webhamster Henry: Coming up at the end of the month (28th-29th), the Century House Historical Society is presenting Seeds Under Nuclear Winter: an Earth Opera in the Widow Jane Mine. This features the band Mamalama, Andean music band Andes Manta, Sundanese Degung band Catskill Mountain Gamelan and dancers and others. So, kind of a world-y fusion, kind of not. #shamelessselfpromotion.

I was obviously unfit (my left ear is useless), but the fundamentalist christian colonel decided to punish me for a birth defect and I had two weeks of extra service, with regular christian punishment from his goons, and legal threats from the place I was assigned to because I was held without a way to tell them I wasn't coming. That beret took a flight into a sewer when I was released
