I have discovered so much wonderful new and old music, and artists I will listen to for the rest of my life! There is no greater gift than that!! When you played Sunshine Baby by Clout... that discovery ALONE is worth my entire S4L pledge. I know I will find many more like that in the archives. THANK YOU DUANE!!!

The 11/9/2016 Day After show is great one for wallowing in misery and then feeling the earliest burblings of hope. @karlward: I've been trying to pinpoint the exact DT show I first heard Nite Jewel. It was definitely here. @Gaylord Fields: that Axelrod tribute was one of the first things I commented about on the board immediately after hearing of Duane's imminent departure. That show was so special to me not only because of the expert curation and programming by Duane but the welling feedback effect of the appreciative Accuplaylist audience, a palpable back-and-forth feeling of warmth but with a discerning eye...really made me happy at the time (I was listening in a tiny, windowless room in midtown earning my bread doing the drone thing).

It was definitely here. @Gaylord Fields: that Axelrod tribute was one of the first things I commented about on the board immediately after hearing of Duane's imminent departure. That show was so special to me not only because of the expert curation and programming by Duane but the welling feedback effect of the appreciative Accuplaylist audience, a palpable back-and-forth feeling of warmth but with a discerning eye...really made me happy at the time (I was listening in a tiny, windowless room in midtown earning my bread doing the drone thing).
