Although I fully support doing anything possible to stop this invasion and to help the people of Ukraine, we don't have to go back to WW2 to find a country invading another sovereign country on the basis of transparently false claims in order to change the government. Anyone remember the second Iraq war? Even back then I said I was in favor of sanctions against the US and UK, but it seemed like no one was interested.

	4:10am fred: The drawback to Swag For Life is I don't get as much of the fun of the marathon. But I sure don't miss the hassle of making a wire transfer to pay for my pledges

	⚡ 4:14am Don in Tampere: How to pronounce "Yhteenveto" (which means summary)? It's tricky if you're noe used to u with an umlaut, since "y" is the equivalent of it in Finnish. But it would be something like ÜH-tayn-vet-o, where you pronounce the "h". And gets more complicated from there. But as difficult as Finnish is (my skills are still modest after 11 years), it does at least have the advantage of being completely phonetic. Every letter is prononced, always the same way, and every word is accented on the first syllable even Maria and banaani.
	4:19am fred: @Brian: I tend to pledge to new shows, in part to relieve the pressure of a first marathon. Dropping a big pledge at the start of a show seemed to do that, but now that it comes before the marathon starts, I'm worried it might actually increase the pressure by raising expectations. What's your take on that, as a victim of my scheme?
