	10:13pm Doug Schulkind: In the famous Massey Hall Concert with Bird, Diz, Bud Powell, Mingus and Max Roach, the original bass player was supposed to be Pettiford, but he broke his arm playing with softball with Stan Kenton's band, and Mingus replaced him.
