	8:44pm djnogoodnick: South African rhythms are as distinctive as Jamaican rhythms. It's a fraction of a second from being post bop.
	8:45pm doctorjazz: The rhythms are distinctive, and this gospel-style 3 chord lovely melody they tend to work in. (same 3 chords as La Bamba, but sound so different)
	8:48pm djnogoodnick: Yeah there is recognizable shading on the piano chords. But I would not have thought of La Bamba!
