Seems pricey at first that way, but I end up saving a lot of money. (Unfortunately I cannot find a tea powder that tastes quite right, IMHO you must use loose-leaf.)

They used to have a nice little classy cafe in there where I'd meet up w/ladies from dating apps, LOL... I bet that didn't survive the pandemic though.

	9:41pm prguitar: @_Ike_, although it can be quite pricey, have you tried Ippodo - the oldest tea seller in Japan. Their main shop is in Kyoto, but they have mail order for the USA, located in NJ, plus international mail order. Mainly green tea varieties including matcha. They have a small shop just a few blocks south of Grand Central Station between Park Ave and Lexington. I find even their most economical tea to be special.. check their websites to get an idea..

Have you been to Ten Ren Tea and Ginseng at 75 Mott Street? I believe they are based in Taiwan.. They have another shop in Flushing as well..

Their main shop is in Kyoto, but they have mail order for the USA, located in NJ, plus international mail order. Mainly green tea varieties including matcha. They have a small shop just a few blocks south of Grand Central Station between Park Ave and Lexington. I find even their most economical tea to be special.. check their websites to get an idea..

Have you been to Ten Ren Tea and Ginseng at 75 Mott Street? I believe they are based in Taiwan.. They have another shop in Flushing as well..
