	12:24pm Dean: "Summertime" is one of those tunes that I frankly don't like, except for the occasional good cover. Three for three so far here. But I can't help but remember a version on a audiophile stereo test record featuring the spouse of one of the record producers singing the tune. Great recording. Dreadful execution.

	12:56pm Dean: Sly Stone appeared as co-host on the Mike Douglas Show as co-host a bazillion years ago. A guest one day was Muhammad Ali. Sly was high as a kite and Ali wanted nothing to do with him. Douglas did a remarkable job of keeping his cool. I watched it just last night.

Unfortunately, the untimely assassination of President Kennedy in November of 1963 ruined the rising comedy career of Mr. Meader.
