Welcome, phat in lincoln, patrick321, and Corey (this will also serve as music to sleep off your full stomach when you arrive home)!

I started my weekly canvassing for Planned Parenthood today and I'll tell you what, I'm tired. But it was a good time. The music is hitting the spot, @Gaylord Fields

Really digging this whole set thusfar! heya gaylord hey all
@Gaylord Fields I used to be an organizer for them. I do national political work these days, but I wanted to hit the doors. They get a free organizer with 14 years experience now! Totally worth it.
I have been informed that K8 would also like to greet Gaylord and the assembled Gaylord listeners and that I should have known to include this from the beginning. Please accept my apologies since I *still* am have having trouble emending linear time to my satisfaction.
...well, George Martin had to sell his oboe to buy his first house, I believe ...otherwise Pop History might have been a rather reedier & more plaintive affair I reckon ...& if the sun catches me crying about it - than that's no one's nevermind...
@Dutch_62: Welcome! Please heed all local and international safety laws while on this journey. Other than that, you are free to float around the cabin.
Just for fun.....The Earth orbits the sun at 107 thousand kilometers per hour and the sun at 828 thousand kilometers per hour around the center of the Milky Way. Zooming out even further reveals that our entire galaxy is hurtling through the universe at about 2.16 million kilometers per hour.
I really do not know how many miles per hour that all is. But its LUDICROUS SPEED ALLRIGHT
i clicked that link, and a suggested video says something about the universe being only 14 billion years old...
are there really "scientists" pretending we can put an age on the universe??!
The speed of light is reportedly 670,616,629 mph
- but don't try that @ home. You get more Massive if you get real close, iirc...
Well - we've only known there *was* a Universe full of Galaxies - & not just our own MilkyWay - since the 1920s. 100 years in all of human history! So I'm prepared to be surprised ...I think!

N'Lo:
Oh Gaylord I sadly have a migraine and this quiet vibe is so helpful. We missed you last week but Therese was amazing. Ohana?
We've even mapped some of the original infrared background radiation from the BigBang. The Future of the Universe is another interesting little area of inquiry...
i guess all the "scientists", who are much more interested in getting their names into textbooks than doing anything of significance, have convinced the masses that "the universe" is some part of something (which we are within)... which is in direct opposition to the definition of universe.
