	12:49pm Orthofrancis: gabapentin is not an NSAID but actually an anticonvulsant that helps reduce nerve pain. Most people c/o drowsiness when first taking it. Commonly used after surgery to reduce pain

	12:51pm Andrea C from the app: Michele, when I slipped on ice cold snow years ago in Berlin, and had issues with a knee, German doctors wanted me to have surgery. Unfortunately the next day I had to be back in Milan , for I was starting a new job. They gave me something soooo strong I had no pain and felt like ehm… drugged and happy. I believe it was some lighter opioid (nothing like fentanyl or similar). They prescribed more, but I was fearful of addiction. So I just used the one to travel back home. I can’t recall the name exactly, but I remember ibuprofen or something similar.
