@CAD: Yes, the Kaisers would often end their live sets with "Let's Stomp," as is required of a beat group from any era. And they did release a studio version on thir Beat Session No. 1 EP.

@Gaylord: Actually, they are not sure about who is on bass, no actual data sheets appear to exist for those early sides IIRC, but (for example) on "Darling Dear", that could ONLY be James Jamerson. He has certain Jamerson'isms.

Becky, the Pleasers, who clearly had an early Beatles image thing going on, had a few good power pop singles in the late Seventies produced by Tommy Boyce. Their only album is a posthumous collection of their singles and unreleased tracks. Worth seeking out if you like Fake Beatles, as I do.
