Thanks Scott. I've been really enjoying the TISM rereleases. I probably should have listened to The Clean more but hadn't until the sad recent news.

It’s difficult to pick best of year. My favorite goes to the collaboration between Arvo Zylo and Leslie Keffer. Both produced many great releases.

Also, Randy Holden’s Population III

It's been a frustrating autumn for me, I didn't see as many concerts as usual. Then again, I saw a lot of dance shows, I just had rotten luck with conflicting dates, sucks to have so many empty days
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58am
Spatulator (formerly elwyn5150):

@Rary: I didn't buy many 2022 albums this year. I think I got the 2022 Weyes Blood, Hatchie and various Guided by Voices albums. I probably should count Neil Young's Barn because it was such a late December 2021 release.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11am

@Spatulator: I’ll give Weyes Blood album a listen. I was shocked when I saw Randy Holden made another album. Dude made an absolute gem proto metal album in 69-70 then 50+ years later comes out with another banger, wow! He’s a legend.

Uh oh, I guess my bands Polluted Electric Kitten and Negative Sandwich had better get their albums out by the end of 2022 to get on all the best-of lists.

(These bands don't yet exist, so I'd better hurry up. Also I'd better learn to play some instruments.)
