Has anyone seen Gary Numan on recent tours? Apparently he's coming to my sordid little burg. The sad thing is that he's playing a new venue that used to be a Sports Authority (yes, you heard correctly) that sounds like a glorified food court. Gary deserves better goddamit.

it's very formalized to classic chinese acting and theater to screen mores. The martial arts is fantastical, and you can sort of see what direction everything is going (and there are a LOT of characters), but for some reason, I can stop watching (54 episodes per season, and season two just ended).

Chris, much of our vermouths disappear into:

Brooklyn
2 oz. rye, 1 oz. dry vermouth, .25 oz. Maraschino, 2 dash angostura, stir, strain, cherry garnish

and

Red Hook
2 oz. rye, .5 oz. Punt E Mes, .5 oz. Luxardo M, stir, strain, lemon twist, cherry

If you like a perfect Manhattan, try a

Perfect BQE
2 ounces rye whiskey, preferably Rittenhouse, 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth, 1/2 ounce dry vermouth, 1/4 ounce green Chartreuse, barspoon maraschino liqueur

you deneedle them (or buy them deneedled). I made the mistake of trying to deneedle them myself, and oh boy, the thin hair spines go right through gloves and stick to you like asbestos. Usually, you stick to the pads, or branches, as they have more flavor.
