An update on the equipment that it was recorded on is in this article.
My good friend Danny White is a principal owner in Sound Techniques USA.
Click on the "news" tab on their page then the "Read More" link for the story about the consoles.

Afterward they went downhill. TFTO is unlistenable. But we always went to Madison Square to see them even when the record they were promoting was crap. They were amazing!

They also covered the Beatles “I’m Down,” which was on the boxed set. Which I think I have Steve Howe and Chris Squire’s signatures on.

...not a fan of yes' beatles covers either

Did a lot of listening during the pandemic. And Yes was a big part of it.
And, I don’t care what anybody says: Tormato is a GREAT album despite it being slogged. They buckled up, wrote shorter and spunkier tunes presumably in response to punk, and put together an amazing record for that time.
Lastly, Going For The One is a masterpiece.

I probably did get a good grade, Jackie G. As I did when I submitted an annotated issue of Playboy to the same class.
The Peter Gabriel Bondage connection was ripe back in '75, for sure. Half the draw to the latter was the echo of the former name.

Sentimental favorite for me. But yeah, does have a freshness of spirit, pulsates, catchy and beautiful stuff.
I’d venture that all that carries over to Drama, which even without Anderson and Wakeman is still amazing.
