Not as classic as Ethiopiques, more current (or not)

i will check that out, i think we've touched on this before... you told me about the rights of the music on
ethiopigues being bought outright and the musicians not getting paid.
i think i missed one or two opportunities to see 'golden age' ethiopian players in nyc
was first clued into ethiopian sound by hearing aster aweke in early 90's , but haven't found or really looked much for her stuff...didn't seem all that great
